Hello! It's been a little while, and not because things have been slow. I worked my ass off getting "40 feet under" done, and I got two exams coming up. Of course, after that, I'm DONE WITH EDUCATION FOREVER, which is a plus.
THERE WAS BLOOD
I fought in a bloody duel with a litre of fake blood, made of a mixture of hot water, gravy granules, cornflour and a careful mix of food dyes. We bloodied up approximately £40 worth of charity shop clothes, and the evidence is now on youtube:
[link]it's all very blue, probably cause we didn't white balance, but you get the idea.
I'm thinking of turning it into a charity event - using a different, washable blood recipe, everyone goes out, buys some charity shop clothes, bloodies them up in a big gorefest, washes them, returns them. We have fun, they get a wad of cash. Simple!
40 FEET UNDER
40 feet under is the name of my zombies underground project I've been rumbling about for a while now. It's finally finished and can be seen here:
[link]Let me know what you think!
I can't post it on dA (at least not yet) because of the soundtrack. I've asked bandai for permission to use the track, we'll see what they say I guess.
UK WEB MINI COMIX THING
The thing '08 was my first convention experience with a table and I really enjoyed it. The copies Luke's dad printed entirely for free went like hotcakes (especilly with my mercenary secret agent minions interrogating punters and convincing them they wanted it forcibly inserted in their anuses).
I split the table price with Jodie of
[link] and together with our entirely disparate styles, we confused the entire of east london into stunned submission.
Props goes to Oliver Lambden of modern monstrosity. He was one of the victims of my marketing assault, and actually rather enjoyed the experience in a sort of masochistic way. He featured CRACK on his blog here:
[link] - much love! He also runs a comic stall in camden:
[link] where I believe he is stocking a few of the surplus copies of CRACK issue 1.
Last thing to mention is a tasty b/w comic he's involved in called "tales from the flat", with a SPACED style humor and setting. Here!
[link]TOKYO GONZO
Another project by a comic friend is "tokyo gonzo". It's made by Dan Cox, who works in the same building I do at uni, and the project is currently being put through it's pre-production paces at dimestoreproductions' small press idol:
[link]votes are appreciated!
CRACK
Issue 2 is well on it's way, and pages will start appearing as soon as my exams are over (May 29th). I've been talking to some friends around europe and plans are in the works for german and french versions of CRACK! I also have contacts who could probably convert it into a decent spanish version. If you are fluent at english and a language that's under represented, please do contact me! I would love to be able to do italian, chinese and japanese too if I can - we'll see how things pan out.
ORGAN WOMAN
Will be posting the final renders and stuff of organ woman too - seems that that's slipped through the cracks somewhat while getting these projects done. Maybe I'll even have enough time to make her a bit better than the admittedly rushed deadline version.
MASSIVE
At the moment I'm trying to gather interest in a free-to-all massive software (crowd sim) support forum, aimed at students and the like, as well as possibly generating some tutorial videos on some of the more complex brain stuff that can be achieved.
and finally!
CLUEDOG
props to cluedog for a 'lil journal feature a couple of weeks back. Check out his comics and his trans-anthorpomorphogenderificationabolismic artwork!

Talk to you guys soon!
